1-8-2 DUTIES

The Attorney shall be authorized and directed to prepare all of the necessary papers, resolutions, ordinances, estimates, petitions, notices, orders, appear in court, attend Board of Local Improvements meetings, write up the minutes of the Board of Local Improvements meetings, and to do all other work necessary or which may be necessary, including the spreading of the assessment and writing up the assessment roll for the purpose of originating and pursuing to completion, including confirmation of all special assessments that may be levied in the Village.  (Ord. 24, 12-6-1928)

1-2-2 PUBLIC UTILITY ORDINANCES

No ordinance relating to railroads or railroad crossings with streets and other public ways, or relating to the conduct, duties, service or rates of public utilities shall be repealed by virtue of the adoption of this Village Code or by virtue of the preceding Section, excepting as this Village Code may contain provisions for such matters, in which case this Village Code shall be considered as amending such ordinance or ordinances in respect of such provisions only.
