6-1-16 PROPERTY; MALICIOUS INJURY TO

It shall be unlawful for any person to injure, destroy or deface, or assist in injuring, destroying or defacing any bridge, fence, building, schoolhouse, church building, depot, house, public building, street, sign, lamp, lamp post, sidewalk, or hydrants, or to write or place any indecent or bawdy words or pictures or advertisements thereon.[13]

4-11A-5 VISIONAL CLEARANCE

Notwithstanding any provisions relating to height hereinbefore stated, the “visional clearance area” which shall be defined as a triangular area measured twenty five feet (25’) on the front lot line and fifty feet (50’) on the side lot line of a corner lot shall not be obstructed by any wall, fence, hedge or shrubbery which exceeds three and one-half feet (31/2’) in height.  In the event that the grade of a lot is higher than the street grade, the height of the wall, fence, hedge or shrubbery shall be reduced so that the visional clearance is not obstructed three and one-half feet (31/2’) over the grade of the street.  (Ord. 606, 6-9-1965)

These provisions do not apply to fences built on property zoned E, F and G if the property is used for commercial or industrial purposes.  (Ord. 737, 4-26-1972)
