Whenever any vehicle shall have been parked in violation of any of the provisions of any regulations prohibiting or restricting parking, the person in whose name such vehicle is registered shall be prima facie responsible for such violation and subject to the penalty therefore.  (Ord. 1396, 7-24-1996)

10-15-9 Parking on Parkways

It shall be unlawful for any business to park or locate any vehicle or property or signs, in whole or in part, on any parkway within the village.  This includes village, county and state roads.  It is not a violation for a customer to park on a parkway while patronizing the business location, unless there are provisions in this code or state statutes that prohibit said parking (parking near fire hydrants, crosswalks, etc.) or unless signs are posted preventing said parking for any reason.

Any parkways used by patrons of businesses must be paved with asphalt or concrete.  Parking on parkways shall also be allowed for the benefit of churches, schools, public buildings or multiple residential family use.  (Ord. 1601, 7-14-2004)
